Superimposing strings

The challenge on I am the Diva this week is another by a guest CZT.  This week it is Aimee Belair’s turn and she has challenged us to put one string on top of another.  I decided to use two of the TanglePatterns strings, 22 and 33.

Claws, one of my all time favourites, sits on the string that is 22.  Then I chose tangles which are fairly loose and tried to get them to work into each other, Carp3, Kelp and Wist, but then ran out of ideas so used Mooka in the final two squares.  With hindsight I would have done Carp3 again in the top right and left the lower left square blank.  But hey-ho!

Very pretty, I like the purple ribbon in it.

  3. I like its pretty delicacy – very nice!

  4. No need to second guess your choices – the tile is very beautiful. I love it. The way you shaded Kelp transformed it for me from a tangle I didn’t think I would ever use, to one that I am eager to try.

Thanks Jennifer, I chose it for no other reason than because I could link it to Carp3, it is a very simple tangle but will use it again 🙂

  5. What a light and airy tile! Very, very pretty. 🙂
