My Initial String

This week the Diva’s challenge is to use your initials as your string.  My initials are LB and I used curly, lower case letters so that I had some loops to work with.

Mooka is a great relaxing tangle – the alternating sweeps of your pen soon unwind you.  I also used Looplopp, Golven and a nod to Linq for the lower curves.

Thank you for looking…..

What a great Idea to do a partial border, and a little bit of color. Your tile looks great.

  6. lmb838 says:

Thanks Didisch, I was determined to leave some white space for a change so the border helped rein me in x

Really like this one Linda. how do they think of the names for the patterns?

    • lmb838 says:

Thanks Ann, I’ve no idea, sometimes you can sort of see why from the pattern, other times I think the creator just used a pin on the alphabet haha

The Mooka and the little bit of blue are nice highlights. Leaving the white space did set things off. I have to remind myself about this a lot.

    • lmb838 says:

Yes it was a conscious decision to leave some blank space and I have to hold myself back because I keep wanting to add just a little more and then a little more!
